Why a letter
Anyone can type a message and hit send.
It arrives in a second, and is gone in two.
We read hundreds of messages a day and remember almost none of them. Life moves at the speed of a notification.
A letter moves differently. It takes days to arrive. Somebody waits for it without knowing they're waiting. Then one morning there it is: their name, in handwriting, on an envelope.
It is opened slowly. Read twice. Kept in a drawer for years, and found again on a day it's needed.
The waiting is part of the gift.
What it can do for you
Say the thing you never quite say.
Thank your mother properly. Tell a friend you're proud of them. Say sorry, or I miss you, or happy birthday in a way they'll keep. Surprise someone who has never received a letter in their life.
You don't need neat handwriting, good stationery, or a trip to the post office. You don't even need the words. Just someone in mind.

Questions
Who writes the letters?
We do. One family: a father, a mother and our daughters, writing at home. Never printed, never a machine.
What does a page hold?
About 200 words. If you write your own message, we count the pages for you as you type.
Is courier really included?
Yes. The price per page includes posting it to anywhere in India.
Will you fix my spelling?
No. When you give us your words, we copy them exactly as you wrote them.
If you write it, do I see it first?
Always. We email you the draft. Nothing is handwritten or posted until you approve it, and you can ask for one round of changes.
How long does it take?
Most letters are posted within 3 to 5 days, or 3 to 5 days after you approve a draft. Then it's up to the courier.
